Jean-Guy Duchaine, chrp, is a seasoned professional in human resources, with over thirty-five-years of experience and an enviable reputation in the sector of management and consulting in human resources. After a productive career in the corporate world, he decided, at the beginning of 2001, to develop his own consultancy in the management of human resources for Canadian enterprises.

He is a graduate of both HEC Montreal and the School of Industrial Relations of the University of Montreal. Since 2002, his is lecturer in Human Resources for Executive MBA students at HEC Montreal.

At the beginning of his career, he worked in the part government-owned sector, occupying senior and strategic positions in Human Resources and Labour Relations. Then, from 1981 until 2001, he worked in private companies of national and international scope: Quebecor, Rona, Provigo. For these major corporate players, he was responsible for Human Resources, Communications and Public Affairs, and he was a member of their respective Management Committees.

Mr. Duchaine is on the Board of Administrators of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines et en relations industrielles agréés du Québec, where he received the Annual Merit of 1996 for his career in Human Resource Management.
